Designing a mold requires careful consideration of numerous factors, including determining the primary direction of molding, parting surfaces, and developing the core, cavity, designing the cooling system, selecting appropriate materials, and many more.


Creating the mold cavity is a critical step that involves creating an exact reverse replica (impression) of the part while ensuring a proper definition of the parting surface. To create accurate parting surfaces, a solution with advanced surface design capabilities and the ability to separate the core and cavity is essential.
