Dassault Systèmes certifications during COVID-19 lockdown

We at Altem Technologies, being Platinum partners to Dassault Systemes are immensely proud to be able to enhance our sales and technical abilities by undergoing the systematic learning and certification programs introduced by our principal OEM Dassault Systèmes.

Apart from being able to cater to the numerous needs of our customers, we have also felt that our esteemed customers from the industry are looking for support from individuals who are not just skilled enough, but also certified on solutions to unleash the full power of the offerings from Dassault Systèmes. The certification further corroborates that the associate from the partner presales team, or the technical post sales team has the necessary skills and knowledge needed. Earning a Dassault Systèmes certification also helps our sales and technical associates to stand out among their peers as well as competitors and be part of our growing community of certified users in the PLM industry. As a certified Dassault Systèmes associate – our sales and technical team members, demonstrate that, they have achieved a robust level of fundamental and advanced knowledge and hands-on experience of Dassault Systèmes sales, brand and technical skills apart from the regular modelling techniques used in CATIA V5 or 3DExperience designing applications.

In the beginning of current year 2020 all associates were looking forward to surpassing the number of certifications done in the last year, one of the reasons being the points required for the ranking in the partner eco-system and individual key result areas. The current situation of COVID-19 caused by the Novel Corona Virus was a major setback, or at least that is what was thought of initially. This led to despair among the associates because the pandemic situation would mean a major gap in opportunities to attend and clear the certifications.

But our Dassault Systèmes counterparts, backed by their leadership took a an excellent decision to use the work-from-home opportunity to learn and get certified, by putting the idle time to productive use. This turned the obstacle into an opportunity and many associates turned up for the learning, knowledge sharing and ultimately going through the certification process.

The result of the learning process was of course very fruitful, but the certification process also yielded a lot of positive results. Among the many who attended the learning process and the certification process, five Altem associates passed ten certifications! This, in the short period of one and half months of lockdown with more than half of the year yet remaining for additional certifications. This number is clearly greater than certifications usually done across any other regular working year. The articulate training & certification was done on topics like CATIA Brand Essentials, CATIA Mid-Market Essentials, Technical Support, Aerospace and Defence – Engineered to Fly, 3DExperience Architecture Fundamentals, and BIOVIA Data Science.

The Certification demonstrates that our sales and technical associates have broadened their knowledge and skills by achieving competence in the above-mentioned practices. Therefore, they can boost their competitive advantage by demonstrating that they have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in leveraging the best possible results from Dassault Systèmes solutions.
On a personal level, the certification is a key success factor for individuals to obtain better opportunities within the company and increased recognition and further prospect to prove their capability to differentiate themselves from others in today’s increasingly competitive world.
