Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of cutting-edge products, including Dassault Systèmes Discovery Studio and Materials Studio, Bio 3D printers, Stratasys 3D printers, and Artec 3D scanners. Your primary focus will be on generating revenue by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities within the designated market segment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the features, functionalities, and applications of Dassault Systèmes Discovery Studio and Materials Studio, Bio 3D printers, Stratasys 3D printers, and Artec 3D scanners. Stay updated on the latest advancements and technological developments in the field.
  2. Sales Strategy: Identify and target potential customers, including research institutions, educational organizations, biotechnology companies, different industrial verticals, and other relevant industries. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  3. Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, engineers, and decision-makers. Understand their specific needs, challenges, and requirements. Provide product demonstrations, technical consultations, and tailor solutions to address customer’s unique demands.
  4. Lead Generation: Proactively identify and generate leads through various channels such as industry events, trade shows, online research, referrals, and cold calling. Qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  5. Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations to prospective clients. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements and demonstrate the value proposition of the products.
  6. Sales Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with customers, address objections, and work towards mutually beneficial agreements. Close sales deals within defined timelines while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  7. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Provide feedback and insights to the management team regarding product positioning, pricing strategies, and market opportunities.
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing team, and technical support team to ensure seamless coordination and effective customer support throughout the sales cycle. Share customer feedback and market insights to improve product offerings and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Required Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the scientific, biotechnology, or 3D printing industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of Dassault Systèmes Discovery Studio and Materials Studio, Bio 3D printers, Stratasys 3D printers, and Artec 3D scanners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships, negotiate, and close sales deals.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company.
