Sanoh India has been a user of Dassault Systemes’ CATIA V5 since 2015 and the development team was facing difficulties in collaboration between different plants.

The company is using Dassault Systemes Catia V5 software solution with Collaborative Designer for Catia V5 UE5 connector capabilities which connects Catia V5 to the 3DExperience platform, enabling secure enterprise-wide sharing of design data.

Altem Technologies provided the PCS +UE5 connector to connect the CATIA V5 Engineering. Excellence bundle to the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform on cloud PLM solutions to overcome data sharing and collaboration tasks with their design work.

This software facilitates them to easily share data with different plants and save data to the platform, access lifecycle management capabilities, and search for components. Beyond basic CAD file management, designers can also maintain revision history, manage tasks and changes, access related documents, organize content, and communicate with colleagues, all from within the CATIA V5 interface.

PCS license Enables efficient team collaboration through secure and simultaneous access to data, lifecycle, and tasks. Viewing 2D/3D – 3DPlay is the basic viewer for viewing, cutting, measuring, and temporary annotations.

UE5 Collaborative Designer for CATIA V5 combines file-based CAD with 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. It gives access to digital design data via a web browser also available on mobile devices. It also helps in effective BOM management for their complex assemblies.

3. Product Architects can assemble or edit a CATIA V5 structure in the mobile-friendly web browser under the governance of the change process without requiring a CATIA license and then hand it over to a CATIA designer for 3D design work.
