These 3D-printed insoles, meticulously designed for arch height, metatarsal width, and heel cup, can be conveniently ordered through a user-friendly app. By seamlessly integrating machine learning algorithms, they create accurate 3D foot models from smartphone images and match them with a substantial database of Indian foot models. This biomechanical data forms the foundation for generating precision-enhanced insoles, a process fortified by Altem Technologies’ extensive engagement 3D scanning process of diverse age, size, and gender foot profiles.
On December 25th, during a typical foggy morning in Bangalore at Decathlon, Surjapur, a Christmas Run Marathon kicked off at 6 AM. The event saw the participation of numerous runners who commenced their run after an energetic ZUMBA warm-up. The Altem Technical team collaborated on-site, setting up a Foot Scanning booth within the Decathlon Showroom.
Post-run, the Altem team initiated individual foot scans using their app and the Artec Eva 3D scanner. This handheld 3D scanner, known for its ease of use and capacity to capture intricate surface details, ensured precise representation from various angles. Notably, it eliminated the need for markers, setting it apart from traditional and those which comes with ultra-low 3D Scanner Price.
The scanned data was processed through photogrammetry software, producing textured 3D foot Precision Scan image. These images serve as valuable databases for Muse Orthotics and contribute to the development of accurate 3D reconstructions from mobile application pictures, ultimately enhancing the customization of insole production. Altem Technologies created the final 3D model of the insole and 3D Printed using a Stratasys 3D Printer, in FDM ( Fused Deposition Modelling ) Technology. Artec Eva 3D scanning machine and Stratasys 3D printer served as the best 3d printer scanner combo in creating customized insoles for this orthotic application. Once the 3D Printer model of insole is ready. It is cushioned by a preferred material of Leather/ Anti-Bacterial/ Deodorizing on the top surface to provide added comfort and preferred colours in the back shell of the insole. These soles will be sent to the people whose foot were scanned for trail runs.
