Graduate Engineer or MBA, Other graduates with relevant experience in sales will be considered.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Inside sales candidate for telemarketing who will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, fixing demo appointments & lead generation to support the regional sales teams across India. Must be comfortable making calls to generate interest, qualifying prospects & assigning it to sales team.

Should be able to identify new prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, outbound cold calls, events, emails, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within universities, academic institutions, research labs, and related organizations.
  • Promote and present the company’s solutions, including CAD/CAE software, simulation tools, 3D printers and 3D scanners, collaborative robots, and cloud-based research platforms.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with faculty, lab members, purchase teams, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions in coordination with internal technical teams.
  • Maintain sales pipeline, update CRM regularly, and support lead generation through digital outreach and events.
  • Travel within the assigned region to meet customers, attend events, and support business development activities.

Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience with products catering to various engineering disciplines viz Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science or to other research programs.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and data-driven sales tracking.
  • Awareness of government tendering, procurement processes, and grant-based funding
  • Target-driven, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • knowledge of various government funding initiatives within universities, academic institutions and research organizations will be an added advantage
