We are thrilled to announce that Altem Technologies, in collaboration with Good Shepherd International School in Ooty, Tamil Nadu, India, has introduced 3D Printing Technology. The positive feedback from both students and faculty members regarding the production of “real-time 3D objects” using this 3D Printing machine has filled the school’s management with immense joy.

One individual who played a pivotal role in this endeavor is Mr. Kiran Gopinath, an esteemed IIT alumnus. A month prior to the procurement phase, Mr. Gopinath visited our Altem Technologies demo center in Bangalore. His visit was part of the evaluation process to explore the capabilities of the uPrintSEplus 3D Printer based on FDM Technology (Fused Deposition modelling ) What stood out was his unwavering commitment to implementing a professional-grade Stratasys 3D Printers with a forward-looking perspective. Mr. Gopinath had meticulously assessed a variety of 3D Printer models , including those in the low-cost and hobbyist categories. He was particularly impressed by the consistent quality and robustness of the uPrintSEplus system, which boasts a vast and highly reputable user base.

Furthermore, Mr. Gopinath recognized that the introduction of FDM 3D printing technology would not only save valuable time but also empower students to invest their efforts in the realm of creative thinking, rather than being consumed by the laborious process of manual model-making. This technology has effectively bridged the gap between the concept generation stage and the product evaluation stage.
