This modular and accessible platform is compatible with all available CONCR3DE powders and binders, whether used as a metal 3D printer or a ceramic 3D printer, while also encouraging the development of new standards and groundbreaking applications. Armadillo White provides comprehensive control over every aspect of the 3D printing process, from print speed to material saturation, and from binder droplet size and shape to UV and infrared curing options. This unparalleled level of customization ensures precise, high-quality results tailored to your specific research and development needs.

From Prototyping to Production

Precision Reduction Insert

The Precision Reduction Insert is an advanced add-on designed to minimize the minimum print size requirements of your 3D printer. This innovative feature enables this 3D printing machine to print with less than 1 liter of volume of 3D Printer materials powder, significantly reducing material waste, preparation time, and associated costs. As your projects scale, the insert can be easily removed to facilitate full-scale printing, making it an adaptable solution for a range of production needs within a single versatile printer.

Unprecedented Versatility

UV Curing

For the effective printing of polymer or composite materials, the UV Curing add-on is essential. It incorporates a 395 nm (+/- 5 nm) light engine capable of curing 3D Printing materials with a typical irradiance of 5.5 W/cm². The system offers an optical output power of 31 W and a UV power density of 4.2 W/cm, ensuring efficient and thorough curing processes, which enhances the material properties and overall quality of the printed components.

Integrated NOAH control

The Armadillo White 3D printing machine features an advanced integrated control station equipped with NOAH, a comprehensive 3D printing software suite and powerful process management tool. This optimized open source material 3D Printer comes with NOAH pre-installed, offering predefined printing profiles for validated materials to ensure precise optimization of production runs. NOAH facilitates real-time progress monitoring, enhancing workflow efficiency and ensuring consistent output quality. It also incorporates automated safety protocols and cleaning procedures, significantly reducing manual intervention and ensuring high operational safety and cleanliness. This integration of advanced 3D Printer design software and hardware optimization makes the Armadillo white a robust and efficient solution for high-tech production environments.

Infrared Heater

With binder jet 3D Printing technology, certain powders necessitate high-temperature curing or exhibit improved binding at elevated temperatures. The Infrared Heater, integrated with a powerful infrared curing lamp, provides precise control over the print bed temperature. This advanced system enables heating the print bed up to 80°C, facilitating optimal curing conditions for various materials. Specifically, the Infrared Heater is engineered to enhance the binding properties of powders, whether used in a ceramic 3D printer or a metal 3D printer, ensuring robust layer adhesion and superior print quality. This capability is crucial for achieving consistent and reliable results, especially in high-performance applications involving intricate geometries and complex material compositions
