Armadillo Gray
Armadillo Gray
Armadillo Gray is engineered to facilitate unrestricted 3D printing of minerals. This multi-material 3D Printing platform represents the pinnacle of efforts to create an optimized system for printing with recycled stone powders. It seamlessly integrates the benefits of additive manufacturing with the aesthetic, tactile, and material properties required for a wide range of applications. Armadillo Gray’s advanced binder jetting technology ensures high precision and scalability, making it suitable for both, realization of intricate design work and large-scale industrial applications. Additionally, the platform supports sustainable manufacturing practices by enabling the use of upcycled materials, contributing to eco-friendly production solutions.
Sustainable 3D Printing with Recycled Stones and Mineral Materials
This innovative 3D printing machine by CONCR3DE is tailored for printing with recycled stone powders derived from construction and demolition waste. These materials, which include remnants from construction sites and broken-down structures, are upcycled to create new, sustainable products. Armadillo Gray combines the benefits of additive manufacturing with the aesthetic, tactile, and material properties of natural stone, resulting in strong, durable, and visually appealing outputs. This multi-material 3D Printing machine is optimized for small volume production in design, prototyping, restoration, art, and architecture applications. Additionally, it serves as an excellent testing and prototyping platform alongside Elephant Gray, which is designed for large-scale production.
Robust Capabilities
Certified Material Options
Our current 3D Printing materials portfolio includes recycled marble, limestone, and granite. 3D Printing materials may even include powder-based waste stream, in case you have one, our materials team can transform it into a printable medium, enabling the production of components in your own and unique stone variety. This process not only promotes sustainability by repurposing waste materials into 3D Printing materials, but also significantly reduces environmental impact and conserve natural resources. This process not only promotes sustainability by repurposing waste materials but also allows for the creation of bespoke, high-quality 3D printed parts that meet specific project requirements. Our team works closely with clients to ensure that the resulting materials exhibit the desired mechanical properties and aesthetic qualities.
Depowdering Box
Designed to match the exact size of the Armadillo Gray build volume, the Depowdering Box makes it easy to remove an entire print for post-processing. This avoids the need to handle the print while it is still delicate and not fully cured, which can be tricky and slow. It is especially useful for fragile parts that need oven curing, such as 3D Printed ceramic parts, and works well with lifting tools like forklifts or hoists. The Depowdering Box improves workflow efficiency and reduces the chance of damaging sensitive parts during post-processing.
Extra Large Printing Capability (Optional)
This optional build volume add-on expands this multi-material 3D Printer dimensions to 440 x 440 x 250 mm, with a daily production capacity of up to 96 liters. It supports research, prototyping, and full-scale production on a single 3D Printing machine, eliminating the need for additional investments. The increased build volume and capacity enable manufacturers to produce larger parts or higher quantities in a single batch, optimizing production timelines. With the ability to print bigger or more numerous items at once, businesses can significantly speed up their production processes. This add-on also provides flexibility for various applications, ranging from experimental research to full-scale commercial manufacturing, all within the same versatile printing platform. Whether you are developing prototypes, conducting research, or producing finished products, this feature allows you to do it all efficiently without needing different machines or additional metal or Ceramic 3D Printer
We’re ready to solve the next generation of manufacturing obstacles. Are you?
Intuitive and Flexible Control Systems
Integrated NOAH Control
The Armadillo Gray 3D printing machine is equipped with an advanced integrated control station, featuring NOAH, a comprehensive 3D printing software suite and powerful process management tool designed to streamline and optimize operations. Pre-installed on this optimized 3D metal printing machine, NOAH provides predefined printing profiles tailored for validated 3D Printing materials, enabling precise optimization of part quantities in production runs. It facilitates real-time progress monitoring, enhancing workflow efficiency and ensuring consistent output quality. Additionally, NOAH incorporates automated safety protocols and cleaning procedures, significantly reducing manual intervention and ensuring high operational safety and cleanliness. This integration of advanced 3D Printer design software and hardware optimization makes the Armadillo Gray a robust and efficient solution for high-tech production environments.
Depowdering Station (Optional)
Our optional Depowdering Station for this metal or ceramic 3D Printer parts offers a specialized clean chamber designed for efficient and thorough depowdering of prints. It includes a rotating platform to access even the smallest and most intricate areas of the printed parts. The integrated air compressor and industrial vacuum system effectively remove the finest powder residues, expediting the depowdering process and maintaining a clean working environment. This enhances operational efficiency and ensures the integrity and quality of the printed components.
