Dassault Systemes offers 3DEXPERIENCE platform to customers in one of the 2 options
3DEXPERIENCE On-Premise :
Customers will need to maintain their own Platform server System and Database (Oracle or Microsoft SQL)
3DEXPERIENCE On –Cloud :
Dassault Systemes will maintain the Platform server and database in their Cloud space. Customers just need to connect to the cloud and start working.
3DEXPERIENCE On-Premise
The 3DEXPERIENCE On Premise deployment allows customers to install the platform on their own server. This provides maximum flexibility for customers with their own IT resources. This option is suitable for industries which are having the policy that data cannot be stored on the cloud (Government Institutions, TIER 1 Suppliers with OEM data…)
Customers need to invest on the Platform Server Hardware and they will have to take responsibility of maintaining the same. Dassault Systemes has given the option to configure one of the 2 Databases – Oracle or Microsoft SQL
